Long Handled Bath Brush

a long handled bath brush made with oil treated oak and horse hair.   

horse hair is ideal for bath brushes because it is pliable and soft yet durable and sturdy with a certain elasticity as well.  when used with a good soap it provides a good lather for excellent cleansing.  

after use allow the brush to dry by hanging or stand it with the horsehair downwards so that the water is transported away from the wood which is sensitive to moisture.

produced in sweden by iris hantverk, using long-standing techniques and traditions from over 100 years ago.
