horse hair is ideal for bath brushes because it is pliable and soft yet durable and sturdy with a certain elasticity as well.  when used with a good soap it provides a good lather for excellent cleansing.  

produced in sweden by iris hantverk, using long-standing techniques and traditions from over 100 years ago.
