to ensure your candle performs properly and that you stay safe please follow our guidelines below:
- ensure the wick is upright, above the wax and central before lighting
- place the candle on a flat surface
- ensure the candle is positioned away from draughts or open windows
- do not burn near anything flammable
- ensure there are at least 10cm between burning candles
- during first use burn for 3-4 hours to create a good even melt pool to the edges of the glass, and prevent tunnelling of the wax
- do not burn for more than 4 hours
- do not burn the candle to the bottom of the glass, ensure at least 5mm of wax remains
- do not allow the flame to touch the glass
- keep the melt pool free of debris to avoid flaring
- candles can become very hot, particularly when burnt for 3-4 hours, do not therefore pick up the glass to extinguish the flame
- keep away from pets and children
- do not leave a burning candle unattended at any time
