at Brownstone we create products that complement contemporary interiors. we love a monochrome look combined with natural materials such as wood, leather, kraft paper and cotton, we also love hand sketched prints and typography which is reflected in our packaging and beauty bag range. a home should smell fresh and welcoming so we have developed twelve unique fragrances for our collection of candles, diffusers, wax melts and room sprays, following a preference for citrus, spicy and herby scents. The range now also includes bath salts and soaps and we are excited to expand this side of the business from the positive response received so far.
Anne Twist founded brownstone in 2018 after a career developing product for high street retailers and brands. Having worked as both a retail buyer and a supplier in casual clothing and accessories as well as in smart stationery and luxury packaging the time was right to scratch the itch, set the brief and launch a brand of her own.
The brand was launched at the Top Drawer London trade show in January 2019 and is now stocked across the UK in independent retailers, including boutiques, lifestyle stores, galleries, florists, gift shops, department stores and with interior designers and in spas.
